2003 Problem Child
68% Zinfandel, 17% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre
A rebellious youth, always in trouble and yet still passes will flying colors. This wine has taught me more about my winemaking style than any other. When pushed, the wine doesn't move and when ignored, the wine blossoms into a bright, articulate individual. More and more I realize that the gentle hand is much more appreciated in winemaking than the heavy hand.

2003 Outsider
72% Zinfandel, 20% Mourvedre 8% Syrah
From Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
"In its debut release, here is another Zinfandel blend from Linne Calodo. Plum and fig flavors with a seamless acidity yield way to a mouthful of glycerin and exotic perfumes. Aged in 20% new American wood and racked once for blending and once for bottling. A step outside the box from some of my other wines, this wine will quell the most steadfast zinfandel drinkers. Drink now through 2010."

2003 Slacker
68% Syrah, 22% Grenache,10% Mourvedre
The Slacker defies its name, soft well-balanced fruit integrated with the finest French, American and Hungarian woods. This wine represents not only the lonely winemaker but the idea that wines should be fun and relaxed. While the Syrah dominates the blend, the Grenache and Mourvedre bring about a texture that is a little more reminiscent of old world style. Boysenberry, cherry liquor and herbs du provence all intermingle with the flavors of toast, roasted coffee bean and vanilla.

2003 Nemesis
82% Syrah, 10% Mourvedre, 8% Grenache
From Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
“Sadly, only 200 cases were produced of this exceptionally fragrant effort. Aromas of acacia flowers, blackberry liqueur, camphor, and a hint of barrique are followed by a wine with tremendous stuffing, a rich, full-bodied, multilayered mid-palate, and a ripe finish displaying sweet, but noticeable tannin. It will benefit from 1-2 years of cellaring, and should age easily for a decade.”
